This design is paired with a pulse-width-modulated Twin Turbo Coil power supply and a heavy-duty aluminum alloy heat sink. For tuning, the amplifier includes a variable 30-250 Hz low-pass crossover and a 10-50 Hz subsonic filter. Bass boost is adjustable from 0 to 12 dB at 45 Hz, while variable phase adjustment spans 0 to 180 degrees. A wired HFR-31 bass remote is included for convenient adjustment from the vehicle cabin.

The A1200.1D can accept speaker-level input signals and includes DC-offset auto turn-on through its high-level inputs. Its 0.2-6V input sensitivity range supports integration with a range of source units.
