Frequently asked questions
Accounts and pricing
How do I open a dealer account?
Create an account with your business and resale information. Once we approve it, pricing unlocks automatically the next time you sign in.
Why can't I see prices?
Pricing is reserved for approved dealers. Sign in to see your tier pricing on every product. If a product shows Contact Us for Pricing, ask your rep and we will quote it directly.
How does tier pricing work?
Each dealer account is assigned a pricing tier based on your business. The prices you see while signed in are your tier prices. No coupon codes, no games.
What is a resale certificate and why do you need mine?
A resale certificate is the state issued document that lets you buy inventory from us without paying sales tax, because tax is collected from your customer at retail instead. We keep a valid certificate on file for every dealer account. It covers goods you actually resell. Using it for shop supplies or personal purchases creates tax liability for you, so keep those separate.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Add products to a quote from any product page or collection, review it under My Quotes, and send it for review. Your rep confirms pricing, stock, and shipping, then finalizes the order with you.
Can I change a quote after submitting?
While a quote is your current quote you can edit quantities and remove items freely. Once it is sent for review, contact your rep with any changes. When our team sends the quote back for your review, you will see Approve and Request Changes buttons on the quote page.
Which of my quotes has a certain model in it?
Use the search bar at the top of My Quotes. Type a model number and it shows every quote of yours that contains it, with quantities.
Do you drop ship?
Ask your rep about drop ship arrangements for your account. In a drop ship order you sell to your customer, we pick, pack, and ship direct to them, and we invoice you at your wholesale price. Your resale certificate must be on file, and shipments to other states can carry extra certificate requirements depending on the state.
Is there an order minimum?
Ask your rep. Requirements depend on the brand and your account terms.
Products, authenticity, and MAP
Is everything authentic?
Yes. We distribute through authorized channels only, so every unit carries the full US manufacturer warranty for your customers. That is the practical difference between authorized product and gray market: major 12 volt brands honor warranty only on product bought through an authorized dealer, and gray market units sometimes arrive with defaced serials that void coverage entirely. Buying from an authorized distributor is what keeps your customers covered.
What is MAP pricing and do I have to follow it?
MAP is the minimum advertised price, the lowest price a reseller may publicly advertise on a website, marketplace listing, ad, or email. Manufacturers enforce MAP to stop race to the bottom price erosion, protect dealer margins, and keep the brand consistent across large and small resellers. MAP governs advertising, not the final selling price: under most policies you can still discount in person, over the phone, or in a logged in cart. Manufacturers monitor violations, often with automated crawlers, and penalties escalate from warnings to losing dealer authorization. If a product in our system carries a MAP, respect it in your public listings.
Is stock status live?
Yes. The In Stock badge on every product reflects our current warehouse inventory.
RMS or peak, which number do I sell by?
RMS. It is the continuous real world rating and the number to match between speakers and amplifiers. Peak is a short burst maximum. Both are listed in our product specifications.
Dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm, which coil do I order?
Pick the coil from the final load the customer's amplifier is stable at. One dual 4 ohm sub wires to 2 or 8 ohms. One dual 2 ohm sub wires to 1 or 4 ohms. Two dual 4 ohm subs reach 1 or 4 ohms, and two dual 2 ohm subs reach 0.5 or 2 ohms. Getting this right before the sub ships avoids an exchange later. The full wiring table is on our Installation Help page.
Shipping and receiving
Where do orders ship from?
Our California warehouse. Shipping method and cost are confirmed with your quote. Larger orders may ship LTL freight. See Shipping Info.
How should my staff receive a freight shipment?
Count pallets and cartons against the delivery receipt before signing, inspect for damage, and note any damage on the receipt with photos. A clean signature makes carrier claims very difficult afterward. Report shortages or damage to your rep right away and we will file the claim.
Returns and warranty
How do returns work?
Contact your rep with the invoice number, the model, and the reason before sending anything back. We issue an RMA with instructions. Returns without an RMA cannot be processed. Keep serial numbers intact and use adequate packaging.
A customer brought back a blown subwoofer. Is it a warranty claim?
Inspect it first. A burnt or charred voice coil means thermal abuse from clipping, usually an underpowered amp with the gain cranked, and manufacturers exclude that from warranty. A torn spider or surround on a ported enclosure points to a missing subsonic filter. A coil that measures near zero or infinite ohms is damaged. Genuine defects in materials and workmanship are covered, so send those through your rep for an RMA.
What should we check before requesting an RMA on an amplifier?
Bench test it with a known good source, speaker, and power supply. Verify the inline and onboard fuses, confirm the ground, and check that the speaker load is not below the rated impedance. Most protect mode complaints turn out to be installation issues, and a five minute bench test saves everyone a shipping cycle.
What about a unit that is dead out of the box?
Report it to your rep immediately with the invoice number. Out of box failures are handled as exchanges rather than warranty repairs. Do not let the customer install a suspect unit.
