The Prestige APS787Z is a 1-way vehicle security, remote-start, and keyless-entry system designed to add controlled starting, door-lock operation, and alarm protection to compatible vehicles. It is intended for drivers who want a single installed system for daily convenience and vehicle security functions. Two five-button transmitters provide direct command of the core features from outside the vehicle.

With an advertised operating range of up to 1 mile, the APS787Z can be used to start the vehicle before entry when compatible vehicle hardware and installation conditions allow. Selectable remote-start runtimes, single-, double-, or triple-press start activation, and multiple engine-confirmation methods allow the system to be configured for the vehicle. Remote-start safety logic monitors connected hood, brake, tach, and other applicable vehicle inputs.

The security portion combines a multi-tone mini siren, starter interrupt capability, flashing parking-light confirmation, and a dual-stage shock sensor. The shock sensor supports Warn-Away and full-trigger detection, while City Mode changes the alarm sound for easier identification. Programmed Transmitter Notification uses the status LED to show how many remotes are stored when the vehicle ignition is switched on.

Prestige equips the APS787Z with a glass-mount RF antenna that incorporates the system LED and valet switch. The platform supports programmable locking, lighting, alarm, remote-start, negative-output, auxiliary-output, and programmable-input functions. Its FlashLogic compatibility supports data-interface integration where an appropriate vehicle-specific interface is used.

The APS787Z fits a vehicle upgrade path that can include FlashLogic FLCART integration and a compatible CarLink telematics interface. Its dedicated ports support RF, data-bus, FLCART, Weblink programming, and telematics connections. Design & Installation

The APS787Z uses a central control module with dedicated high-current, alarm/notification, input/output, RF, data, and telematics connections. Its glass-mount antenna is designed for windshield placement and includes the visible status LED and valet switch. The included shock sensor connects through its dedicated four-pin module port.

Installation requires vehicle-specific wiring for power, ignition, starter, accessory, brake, hood, door-lock, and security functions as applicable. Mount the antenna high on a clear area of the windshield near the rear-view mirror without blocking the driver's view or placing it on metallic window film. A compatible FlashLogic interface or CarLink module may be added separately when those functions are desired.
