HERTZ HRC 02

The Hertz HRC 02 is a wired subwoofer level remote control designed to place bass-level adjustment within easy reach in the vehicle. It lets the listener change subwoofer output without accessing amplifier controls. Its adjustment range runs from -20 dB to +6 dB.

This control is intended for compatible Hertz and Audison amplifier systems equipped with a Molex connector for subwoofer remote volume control. It is useful for drivers who listen to different music styles or want to compensate for changes in recording level. The control adjusts subwoofer level rather than replacing amplifier gain setup.

The HRC 02 makes it practical to reduce bass for everyday listening or increase subwoofer output when desired. Design & Installation

The HRC 02 uses a compact rotary-knob format with a black finish and dedicated top-mount and recessed-mount components. Its cable terminates in a Molex-style connector for use with compatible amplifier remote-control inputs. The compact dimensions allow placement in a dash panel, console, or another accessible interior location.

Confirm amplifier compatibility before installation: the amplifier must have a Molex connector for subwoofer remote volume control. Route the supplied cable away from water, excessive heat, moving mechanisms, and electronic control units, and protect wiring when passing through metal openings. Choose tape, screw, or recessed mounting based on the panel material and the desired finished appearance.
