STX Audio SX502 5.25" 3-Way Coaxial Car Speakers

The STX Audio SX502 is a pair of 5.25-inch 3-way coaxial car speakers for upgrading compatible factory door or rear-deck locations. Its compact round design keeps the woofer, bridge-mounted midrange, and tweeter together in one speaker assembly. This makes it a practical replacement option when retaining original speaker locations is preferred.

Designed for daily vehicle listening, the SX502 pair uses a 4-ohm nominal impedance for compatibility with suitable factory and aftermarket car audio systems. The speakers are rated at 120 watts RMS per pair, or 60 watts RMS per speaker, with 450 watts maximum power handling per pair. Clean, appropriately matched amplifier power can help the speakers perform as intended.

The 3-way coaxial layout separates low, midrange, and high-frequency duties within each speaker. A woofer handles the main body of the sound, while the bridge-mounted midrange and tweeter support vocal presence and upper-frequency detail. The specified 85 Hz to 22 kHz frequency response is suited to full-range playback from a compact installation location.

Each SX502 uses a black injection-molded woofer cone with a rubber edge surround to support controlled cone movement. A 1-inch aluminum voice coil and 12-ounce magnet form part of the motor assembly. The black steel basket provides the speaker's mounting structure for automotive use.

As part of the STX Audio Street Series, the SX502 is supplied as a matched stereo pair for left-and-right installation. It can be used to refresh worn factory speakers or as part of a balanced multi-speaker vehicle audio system. Two matching protective grilles with gold accents are included for installations where the speaker faces are exposed.

The SX502 combines a black injection-molded cone, rubber edge surround, aluminum voice coil, 12-ounce magnet, and black steel basket. Its black finish is complemented by supplied grilles with gold accents. The coaxial layout places all three driver elements in a single round speaker chassis.

Confirm that the vehicle has a compatible 5.25-inch speaker opening before installation. Check available mounting depth, mounting-hole pattern, terminal clearance, wiring polarity, and factory connector style; vehicle-specific brackets or harness adapters may be needed. Connect each speaker to a compatible 4-ohm head unit or amplifier and keep amplifier output appropriately matched to the 60-watt RMS-per-speaker rating.
