The Rockford Fosgate RZR14-K8 is a vehicle-specific 8 AWG amplifier installation kit for select Polaris RZR side-by-side models. It provides the wiring and under-dash mounting hardware needed to add one compatible Rockford Fosgate amplifier without creating a custom wiring layout. This kit is intended for riders building a clean, integrated audio upgrade in a 2-seat or 4-seat RZR.

Rather than producing sound on its own, the RZR14-K8 supports the amplifier that powers a UTV audio system. Its pre-cut, loomed power, ground, signal, and speaker wiring helps simplify the connection between the vehicle, amplifier, and front speakers. The result is a more organized installation path for an amplified RZR sound system.

The kit is designed around the Rockford Fosgate M5-800X4 four-channel Element Ready amplifier, which is sold separately. Its harnesses use amplifier-specific Molex connections, helping reduce the need to cut or terminate wiring when used with that amplifier. The installation kit also includes RCA-to-Molex input harnesses for connecting audio signal to the amp.

Color Optix-ready wiring is included to support compatible Rockford Fosgate lighting-equipped audio components within a broader RZR system. This makes the kit a suitable foundation for systems that combine amplified speakers with compatible Color Optix accessories. Lighting-control hardware and audio components are not included with the installation kit.

Two mounting plates are supplied to accommodate the under-dash mounting arrangement used by 2014-2018 and 2019-up select RZR models. The plates attach at factory mounting locations, and the kit is designed to install without cutting or drilling the vehicle. It is a practical starting point for a staged Rockford Fosgate RZR audio upgrade.

Design & Installation

The RZR14-K8 combines vehicle-specific amplifier mounting plates with loomed wiring harnesses made for an organized under-dash installation. The plates are pre-drilled and tapped for the compatible M5-800X4 amplifier, while the harness integrates power, ground, speaker, and signal connections. An inline 60A Maxi fuse is included on the power/ground/speaker harness.

Use the mounting plate that corresponds to the model-year arrangement of the RZR, then route the harness according to the installation instructions and secure it with the included wire ties. The kit is intended for select 2-seat and 4-seat Polaris RZR models and is not a universal amplifier kit. Confirm vehicle fitment before purchase, and note that installing a different amplifier may require wiring and mounting modifications.
