Design & Installation

The VT1 uses a balanced silk dome diaphragm and neodymium magnet motor structure in a compact 1-inch tweeter format. Each unit has a 2.40-inch overall diameter, 1.14-inch overall height, and 0.846-inch mounting depth. The set is supplied as a pair and does not include grilles according to the published specification.

For surface mounting, position the supplied mounting cup at the desired angle and route the speaker wire through the cup before securing the tweeter. For flush mounting, verify panel clearance and opening requirements before cutting; the installation guide calls for at least 1 inch of clearance behind the panel for the flush-mount arrangement. Connect each passive crossover input to the amplifier speaker output and its tweeter output to the corresponding VT1, observing positive and negative polarity.
