The VMAX10D4 combines a treated paper cone, treated-foam surround, oversized spider, and heavy-duty cast-aluminum frame. Its ferrite motor uses a polished bumped backplate, black-coated voice coil, and elevated cooling-oriented structure. The 10-inch driver has an 11.06-inch overall diameter and a 6.89-inch magnet diameter.

Confirm a 9.47-inch mounting cutout and at least 5.39 inches of mounting depth before installation. The manufacturer recommends a 1.0 cu. ft. net sealed enclosure or a 1.25 cu. ft. net ported enclosure, both calculated with 3/4-inch MDF. Match the amplifier to the final 2-ohm or 8-ohm coil wiring load, and use a subsonic filter of at least 30 Hz with the recommended vented enclosure.
