Audison DRC AB Digital Remote Control

The Audison DRC AB is a compact digital remote control for an Audison bit Nove DSP processor. It places essential system adjustments within reach from the dashboard, reducing the need to connect a computer for routine listening changes. It is intended for vehicles with a compatible Audison DSP installation that needs convenient in-car control.

From the DRC AB, the user can adjust master volume, subwoofer volume, front-to-rear fader, and left-to-right balance. It also provides source selection for the processor's Main, Aux 1, Digital Optical 1, and Digital Optical 2 inputs. This lets the system be adjusted to suit different passengers, program material, and source devices while driving.

The controller does not add amplification or process audio on its own; it provides direct access to supported bit Nove controls. Its volume range is adjustable from -60 dB to 0 dB in 0.5 dB steps, while the separate subwoofer level adjusts from -12 dB to 0 dB in 0.5 dB steps. The subwoofer control becomes active when a DSP channel has been configured as a subwoofer.

The DRC AB can recall Audison processor memories and supports selection among four DSP presets in a bit Nove system. A short press of the SRC key turns on the processor, a three-second press turns it off, and a one-second press changes the input source. This keeps common system functions available through a simple, dedicated dashboard interface.

Designed as an accessory for the Audison bit Nove, the DRC AB connects through the supplied DRC/AC Link cable. Its low-profile 63 x 36 x 12 mm enclosure is suited to an ergonomic dashboard location. It is a practical addition when a bit Nove-based system requires repeatable, driver-accessible control after DSP tuning is complete.

The supplied bi-adhesive tape supports mounting the controller in a convenient cabin location.

Connect the DRC AB to a compatible Audison bit Nove using the included 4.5 m DRC/AC Link cable. Mount it inside the vehicle rather than in the engine compartment, keep it clear of water, excess humidity, dust, and dirt, and allow at least 3 cm of clearance from surrounding structures. Choose a location that does not interfere with vehicle electrical or mechanical equipment and operate it only from 0°C to 55°C.
